We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to share with our guests this wonderful new barn conversion, Fiddlers Barn in the heart of Binham. Tucked away from the main street, Fiddlers Barn has been imaginatively designed to retain the old barn feel along side a modern spacious interior with excellent build quality and finish.
The flagstone entrance hall leads through to the large open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room, which has sets of French doors on two sides of the room maximising the light and airy feel. The kitchen area has hand painted units and is very well equipped with cooker with gas hob and electric oven, 2 under counter fridges (one for drinks, the other food!) dishwasher, microwave etc and plenty of new crockery and glassware. An island unit separates the kitchen area from the rest of the room and is an ideal spot to lounge around whilst cooking is in progress! There is a large oak dining table with seating for eight people and in front of the wood burning stove at the far end of the room are two very comfortable sofas. The owners have provided an excellent quality TV and sound system with iPod docking station for guests to enjoy and the room opens onto a stone patio and raised lawn area at the rear and also a small terrace and sunken walled garden at the front of the barn.
There is a separate utility room containing washer/drier and freezer with plenty of hanging space and also a cloakroom with wc and washbasin.
An oak staircase leads to the first floor landing off which is 1 kingsize bedroom with en-suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom, and a twin bedroom. Also on this floor is a separate shower room. All the bedrooms are very light and bright and the whole house has a wonderfully airy and uncluttered feel to it, using pale oak wood flooring and natural stone and brick. There is parking for 2 – 3 cars at the property.
Binham is a charming, historic village approximately 4 miles from the North Norfolk coast, famous for its ruined priory and church which is the venue for many lovely concerts during the summer. Just a few minutes walk from the barn is an excellent butchers shop, the village store and the local pub, The Chequers, serving very good food. We are sure visitors will enjoy exploring the beautiful countryside from Fiddlers Barn, around peaceful Binham as it so well placed for the many attractions of this part of North Norfolk.
